METHOD FOR MAKING COMPOST FROM ORGANIC SLUDGE

PURPOSE:To easily and inexpensively make compost from org. sludge, such as sewer sludge by using the sludge which is dehydrated as a deodorant, then fermenting the sludge, thereby making the sludge into compost. CONSTITUTION:The dehydrated org. sludge is dried at <=80 deg.C. The dried sludge is brought into contact with the malodorous gases discharged from a fermentation tank so as to deodrize. The dried sludge adsorbed and decomposed the odorous components is charged into the fermentation tank and is fermented. The dehydrated org. sludge is preferably premolded to granular lump bodies. The compost products are made into granular lumps as well and the handling is extremely facilitated in such a case.
