PURPOSE:To enable knock control with high accuracy without affected by degree of aged deterioration such as dispersion or abrasion of an engine by carrying out plural information on knock through calculation of a membership function which applies neuro technique having a plurality of learning functions. CONSTITUTION:An output level of a knock sensor 1 in a crank angle range where knock is generated and the output level of the knock sensor 1 in the crank angle range where knock is not generated are compared with an output signal of the knock sensor 1 at a comparator 10. Also, the signal of the knock sensor 1 and an output signal of a means for obtaining engine information of an engine are put in as input, and calculation of a membership function having a learning function is carried out by a micro computer 8 using neuro technique with presence of knock and hunting and a delay angle amount of ignition timing as outputs. By this, knock control with high accuracy can be executed without affected by degree of aged deterioration such as dispersion or abrasion of the engine. |
