PURPOSE:To obtain the subject prepreg having folding, alkali resistance, etc., by forming polyamic acid films on a mold release film, then directing the film surface to the inside, arranging the films on the top and bottom of a heat- resistance fiber substrate and hot-pressing the resultant laminate. CONSTITUTION:A polyamic acid solution is applied to a mold release film such as a plastic film and dried until a tack-free state is attained. Thereby, polyamic acid films having the mold release film are formed. The obtained polyamic acid films are then directed to the inside and arranged on the top and bottom of a heat-resistant fiber substrate such as a (non)woven fabric composed of glass, carbon fiber, etc., and hot-pressed to afford the objective prepreg applicable as a polyimide molded body. |
