PURPOSE:To obtain the title sheet having excellent transfer sensitivity and capable of giving a recorded article having high picture quality by using a specific naphtholactam compound as an infrared absorbing substance in the sheet having a layer containing thermal migratory dyestuffs and the infrared absorbing substance on a base film and using infrared rays for thermal transfer recording as a heating means. CONSTITUTION:In a sheet having a layer containing thermal migratory dyestuffs and an infrared absorbing substance on a base film and using infrared rays for thermal transfer recording as a heating means, a naphtholactam group compound shown in formula (X and Y represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an acylamino group, and an alkoxy group, R<1> a substituted or non-substituted alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aryl group, and an allyl group, R<2> and R<3> the hydrogen atom, the substituted or non- substituted alkyl group, the aryl group, the allyl group, and the cycloalkyl group, R<4> and R<5> the hydrogen atom, the halogen atom, the alkoxy group, and an amino group, Z<-> an anion and (m) is 1, 2) is employed as the infrared absorbing substance. |
