<p>PURPOSE:To enhance wear and abrasion resistive properties and enable stable long-term use to be achieved by molding rollers with a composite consisting of thermoplastic urethane elastomer and liquidus rubber. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic elastomer employed herein is a reactive product in reaction with a polyoxy compound of glycol, triol and the like, a compound having two or more active hydrogen of a carboxylic acid compound or the like, and a compound having an isocyanate group, and made into a linear macromolecule. The liquidus rubber is a substance of chloroprene, polybutadiene, butyl rubber or the like and, lying in a rubber-like amorphous region, has an adhesiveness as well as a miscibility with thermoplastic urethane elastomer. The paper supply roller obtained by mixing these substances has a friction coefficient larger between a roller and paper than between paper and paper. Herein, the liquidus rubber is composed of 3-300 pts.wt. with respect to 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic urethane elastomer.</p> |
