<p>PURPOSE:To provide a simply installed winch which can be easily installed in a desired position when a cable is pulled along the upper face of a ladder- shaped cable way formed inside e.g. a ship or a building, etc., or when a heavy object is pulled in a narrow space inside a ship. CONSTITUTION:An air motor 1 and a winding drum 2 driven by the motor 1 are installed inside a main body 1 formed by a hollow cylindrical body and a winding cable 9 having an engagement portion 9a for a cable 11 serving as a subject to be pulled is derived from one end portion of the main body 1 and a holding cable 7 for attaching the main body 1 to a fixture 12 is attached to the other end portion of the main body 1. Then tension applied to the holding cable 7 during pulling of the cable 7 by the winding cable 9 and the tractive force of the winding cable 9 are utilized to hold a winch 10 in a predetermined position and thereby installation of the winch 10 is facilitated.</p> |
