<p>PURPOSE:To prevent damage to exterior building material and falling-down of the building material by a method in which an exterior building material having griths formed from expanded synthetic resin and fixing parts formed integrally with the grith body from non-expanded synthetic resin is exactly fixed by fixing members such as nails. CONSTITUTION:A grith 11 is formed from an expended synthetic resin such as vinyl chloride, horizontal marks are drawn on building materials such as columns 17 and stands 18, and the grith 11 is set on the outside of the column 17 or stand 18. Fixing members such as nail 19 are driven from the fixing parts 13 and 14 to between the column 17 and the stand 18. In this case, the fixing parts 13 and 14 are integrally formed with the grith body 12 from non-expanded synthetic resin for preventing damage during the driving operation, and the grith 11 is exactly fixed to the building material. Long parts are then attached to the necessary positions of the building adjacently. Afterwards, by hiding the fixing parts 13 and 14 from outside, one ends 20 a and 21a of them set near the grith body 12. Siding part 20 and 21 are fixed by nails to furring stripes 22 and 23 sets between the column 17 and the stand 18. Also, a sealant 24 is packed into the aperture between the siding parts 20 and 21 and the grith 11 as needed.</p> |
