PURPOSE:To improve curing properties, punching processability, water resistance, electrical characteristics and mechanical characteristics by impregnating base materials for a laminated sheet with a resin component to which two kinds of specific components are added and drying the impregnated ones to subject the same to laminate molding. CONSTITUTION:A xylene resin and a bisphenol compound are reacted in the presence of an acid catalyst and the reaction product is further reacted with formaldehyde in the presence of an alkali catalyst to obtain a resol type xylene modified bisphenol/aldehyde resin A which is, in turn, added to a drying oil modified phenol/formaldehyde resin B. These added resin components are infiltrated in base materials for a laminated sheet and the impregnated ones are dried to be subjected to laminate molding. It is pref. to add 3-50 pts.wt. of the component A to 100 pts.wt. of the component B. When the component A is below 3 pts.wt., water resistance or punching processability is not effectively enhanced and, when the component A exceeds 50 pts.wt., punching processability is lowered. |
