PURPOSE:To prevent the air pillar resonance while maintaining wet grip performance and reduce the noise of a tire by providing a film which crosses the longitudinal groove extending in the circumferential direction of the tire, and providing this with a cut for drainage. CONSTITUTION:A tread 2 has a plurality of longitudinal grooves 10 extending continuously in the circumferential direction of a tire. Films 12 are arranged in all these longitudinal grooves 10, and the thickness of each film 12 is 0.5mm or more and less than 2mm, being measured in the circumferential direction of a tire, and it crosses the longitudinal groove 100, and breaks the circumferential continuity of the longitudinal groove 10, and prevents the occurrence of air pillar resonance. Moreover. it is so arranged that at least one film 12 may exist always inside the groove 10, at the grounding face S of the tire tread when the tire 1 is installed on a regular rim and air is charged into regular inner pressure and regular load is applied. Moreover, the film 12 is provided with a cut 14, and when the tire advances on a wet road face, rotating in the direction of D, the film opens easily with the cut part 14 by hydraulic pressure, and drains water without preventing water flow, and maintains wet grip performance. |
