<p>PURPOSE:To prevent deviation of image on recording paper by stopping the tip of recording paper at registration position in the condition where it protrudes from the tip of matching paper and overlapping and conveying the recording paper and matching paper. CONSTITUTION:In an image forming device provided with a matching paper device which supplies recording paper and matching paper simultaneously from a plural number of paper supply means and conveys them to the image forming position in the condition where they are overlapped, recording paper 207 which is sent from a lower step paper supply tray 203 and matching paper 210 which is sent from an upper step paper supply tray 201 join on the halfway of conveyance and are overlapped in a registration roller 117 section. At this time, a paper supply motor is controlled so that the tip of matching paper 209 is overlapped behind by the distance of DELTAL from the tip of recording paper 209, and the overlapping is detected by a registration sensor 401 in the registration roller 117 section and it is stopped temporarily. The registration roller 117 is rotated again at such timing as it is synchronous with image on a photoconductor belt 109, and the recording paper 209 and the matching paper 210 are sent to a transfer section while they are overlapped to perform image transfer processing.</p> |
