Process for shaping, after moulding, at least one of the ends of the rigid inner bush (1) of a flexible joint having coaxial rings, characterised in that an annular allowance of material (overthickness) (6) is formed by local plastic deformation (creep) between half-dies which impose the external shape and by rivet die (snap) rocking about an oblique axis, of small-angle taper trajectory about the axis of the part, and in that the reaction is exerted on the opposite plane face of the rigid inner bush (1), without substantially stressing the elastomeric compound of the flexible sleeve (3), one of the plane end faces (5) of the said rigid inner bush (1) being capable of including at least one projecting element such as a cylindrical rib (18) or radial splines (fluting) (19). …<??>Flexible joints produced according to this process. …
…
|
