PURPOSE:To provide a network equipment which is free from any imitation for the decision of a specific slot order for which an extension board is packaged for the connection secured by a back board. CONSTITUTION:Each board contains a basic board 1, an extension board 2a, and an extension board 2b which are packaged on the same back board. Then three signal lines are provided among the boards 1, 2a and 2b. A data selector 3 is provided on the front of the reception part of the board 2b against those three signal lines. Two types of signals, i.e., the signal received from an output pin of the board 2a and the signal (output signal sent from the board 1) which enters the input pin of the board 2a are inputted to the selector 3. The selector 3 selects the signal sent from the output pin of the board 2a and transmits the signal to the board 2b with use of the board 2a. When the board 2a is not inserted, the selector 3 selects the signal entering the input pin of the board 2a and sends the signal to the board 2b. |
