PURPOSE:To provide the watch dog timer capable of monitoring the state of a microcomputer even in s standby state. CONSTITUTION:When the charge/discharge power of a charge/discharge circuit reaches a second threshold level VH in a standby state, a second timing signal *TIM from a timing signal generation circuit 9 is forcedly generated at constant intervals. Thereby operating the charge/discharge circuit to execute the operation of a watch dog timer, normally turning the computer 1 from the standby state to the normal operation state. |
