PURPOSE:To control registration in accordance with the age of a customer at the time of purchase of a commodity limited by age. CONSTITUTION:Age limit data for each commodity is stored in a PLU (price look up) file 17-1 besides sales data. At the time of registering a commodity, a CPU 11 disriminates whether age limit data is stored in the PLU file 17-1 correspondingly to this commodity or not. In the case of the commodity whose purchase is limited by age, the CPU 11 inhibits registration of the commodity if the age of the customer is lower than the limit age, but registration of the commodity is permitted if it is not lower than the limit age. |
