PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for deletion of commodity information to operate a system with a small number of persons by designating a parameter as the deletion object to delete corresponding commodity information and easily restoring commodity information within a certain time especially in a POS system. CONSTITUTION:Commodity information is stored in a commodity master 1, and the same information as the commodity master 1 is stored in a deletion data file 2. An external storage control part 3 reads/writes data from/in the commodity master 1 and the deletion data file 2, and a keyboard 4 is connected to a processor 5. The processor 5 is provided with a control part 8, an input data decoding part 9 which decodes input data inputted from the keyboard, a data holding part 10 where input data inputted from the keyboard is held, an arithmetic part 11, and an editing part 12 which esits deletion commodity information. |
