PURPOSE:To obtain a light emitting board on which a light emitting diode is mounted easily by forming supporting legs embedded partially in a light transmitting material out of the same material as lead parts. CONSTITUTION:A light emitting element 1 is mounted on one lead frame 2, and is connected electrically with the other lead frame 2 by a wire 3, and further, is sealded by a light transmitting material 4 together with the end parts of the lead frames 2 and the wire 3 in a body. Also, a recessed reflective surface 4a is formed on the opposite side to a light emitting surface of the element 1 and a radiative surface 4b is formed on a back surface side. Supporting legs 2a are formed of the same material as the lead frames 2 and the end parts thereof are embedded in the light transmitting material 4 too and further, on the lead frames 2 and supporting legs 2a, protruding parts 5 are formed in predetermined places respectively. Therefore, by only inserting the lead frames 2 and supporting legs 2a into holes 21 until the protruding parts 5 are contacted with a board 20, a light emitting diode 10 can be mounted on the board 20. |
