The invention relates to a connection system for profile section constructions, especially a connection system for profile section constructions of reinforced plastic, which contain fastenings 20 and a connecting piece 10. The first end 16 of the connecting piece 10 is designed to be fixed to the connecting piece. At the second end 18 of the connecting piece 10 an element has been formed which locks the connecting piece 10 firmly in place. In the connecting piece 10 there is a guide element 12, which is arranged to receive the laterally directed torque that acts on the connection. The connecting pieces 10 have been designed in such a way that either end 16, 18 of the connecting piece 10 can be connected to the fastening 20. <IMAGE>
