PURPOSE:To automatically form a document having an optimum table format minimizing the number of margine characters within the range of a previously specified restricting condition. CONSTITUTION:A document processor provided with a table format document forming function is also provided with a table optimizing part 10 for executing the optimum allocation of respective columns in a formed table type document stored in a document storing part 9 so that the sum of margines in the whole table is minimized within the previously specified restricting condition. The optimizing part 10 is provided with a restricting condition setting part 14, a column optimizing size calculating part 11 and a table format document shaping part 12. |
