PURPOSE:To provide the image processor which can execute an image processing at a high speed with regard to an image in the front of a traveling road. CONSTITUTION:An image in the front of a traveling road is fetched by a camera 1, passes through an A/D converter 11 and a look-up table 12, and is subjected to filtering processing by a filter part 14. Thereafter, its image is binarized by a look-up table 15, passes through a changeover switch 16 and is accumulated in a frame memory 17a or 17b. A CPU 10 performs an image operation with regard to the image of the frame memories 17a, 17b, and accumulates its result in a frame memory 17c. This image is displayed on a monitor 5 through a D/A converter 18. In a histogram generating part 13, a histogram of a density value of an input image is generated, and the CPU 10 varies the contents of the look-up tables 12, 15 in accordance with this histogram. |
