<p>PURPOSE:To provide the developer which can impart a high electrical conductivity and magnetic force to a carrier, has the electrical conductivity as the developer, enables development by an insulating toner using a rear surface exposing/ simultaneous developing method, allows transfer to plain paper and can prevent the splashing of a toner in a machine. CONSTITUTION:The two-component type developer is formed by mixing the conductive magnetic carrier formed by fixing conductive particulates 17 to the surfaces of magnetic resin carrier base particles 13 consisting of magnetic materials 15 dispersed in a binder resin and the insulating toner. The carrier 11 has 40 to 60emu/g max. magnetization at 1 kilooersted (KOe), <=10<5>OMEGA.cm<2> specific volume resistivity and 10 to 100p average grain size. The toner has 4 to 2Oemu/g >=10<14>OMEGA.cm, and 5 to 20mum. The insulating toner image is formed by a light rear surface exposing system using thin developer and is electrostatically transfer to plain paper.</p> |
