PURPOSE:To obtain a copy image that is free from any noise image by recognizing the range of specified article out of the image data on the read article images of a newspaper, etc., and outputting a specified article image after deletion of the noise images existing around the specified article. CONSTITUTION:The rearranging conditions of a newspaper screen are set based on a clipping rearrangement copy setting screen (not shown in the diagram). An image rearrangement processing part 400 receives the rearranging conditions from a system control part 700 and stores them. Then a full screen image of an original image read by the part 400 is trimmed within an image processing part 200, energized in a simple black/white binarization mode, and written in a storage part 500. Then the part 400 starts the ruled line segmentation processing and detects the field separators like the ruled lines, etc., with addition of the image information on the part 500 to store them in a RAM. Then the part 400 clips an outer circumference. In other words, the ruled line information is inputted together with the image data on the part 500 and the peripheral noise images excluded out of the specified article are erased. Then the image data on the part 500 are updated. |
