PURPOSE:To provide a design supporting device capable of performing the processing of a nonlinear eigenvalue problem in a short time. CONSTITUTION:Plural prediction methods are executed simultaneously in the repeating calculation of the nonlinear eigenvalue problem (step 15), and the optimum solution out of the solutions obtained by those prediction methods is selected (step 16). The repeated calculation is performed until it is decided that a selected optimum solution is converged (step 17). Thereby, the number of times of repeat of the repeated calculation can be reduced, and the processing of the nonlinear eigen-value problem can be performed in a short time. |
