<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic toner improved in flowability of the toner, stable in chargeability, free from deterioration of an image (fogging, lowering of image density or ghost image), scattering of the toner or generation of a spent toner. CONSTITUTION:In the electrophotographic toner containing a charge control agent and a fixing resin, ratio of the total surface area S0 (m<2>) of charge control agent on surface of toner particle determined by the potentiometric method (solvent: methanol) and the concentration C0 (mol/l) when the total charge control agent on the surface of the toner particle is dissolved in a solvent is 300<=S0/C0<=6000, C0 is 1.0 10<-7=C0<=1.0X10<-3> and an inorganic metallic additive sticking to the surface of the toner particle has a particle diameter distribution of <=25% in ratio (number %) of the particle having >=140nm particle diameter.</p> |
