PURPOSE:To execute a display at a high speed at the time of updating a screen by constituting the method so that plotting is not executed at the time when a character- string frame does not exist in a display area, and on the other hand, plotting of character-string data is executed at the time when even a part thereof exists therein. CONSTITUTION:This method is provided with a coordinate calculating part for calculting a coordinate of a character-string frame based on character-string data required to display, and constituted so that plotting is not executed at the time when a character-string frame 13 does not exist in a display area 12, and on the other hand, plotting of the character-string data is executed at the time when even a part thereof exists threrein based on the coordinate of the character-string frame 13 calculated by this coordinate calculating part. In such a way, at the time of plotting the character-string, all the character-strings are plotted at the time when all the character- string frames 13 exist in the display area 12, and plotting is executed in an existing character frame unit at the time when partial character frames exist. Accordingly, only a character affecting the display surface is plotted without replotting all the character-strings as before, and a display at the time of updating a screen can be executed at a high speed. |
