PURPOSE:To enable insulated wires to be electrically jointed and made continuous to each other easily and properly by driving a conductor terminal into a gap between the adjacent wires of a multi-wire parallel insulated cable for breaking an insulation film layer to the predetermined form. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 10 comprising a conductor is so formed that the base end thereof has breadth slightly larger than a gap between the adjacent wires 24 of a multi-wire parallel insulated cable 22, and the breadth is gradually reduced from the base end toward the forward end with an intermediate section formed for cutting the insulation film layer 26 of wires 24 at both sides. When the terminal 10 is driven into a gap between adjacent wires 26, the insulation film layer 26 thereof is broken, and the adjacent wires 24 are electrically connected to each other for continuity easily and properly via the terminal 10. |
