PURPOSE:To shorten to the utmost a delay time from the generation of in deterioration a transmission line to execution of switching. CONSTITUTION:In the respective receiving parts 5c, 5r of an intermediate repeater station C and a receiving terminal station R, a deterioration amount of a transmission line S caused by fading is detected as a variation of a receiving input level, and also, whether the variation of the detected receiving input level exceeds a threshold or not is decided. Subsequently, a result of this decision of the intermediate repeater station C side is transferred to the receiving terminal station R side by a transmitting equipment 11, and based on a result of decision transferred from the intermediate repeater station C side, or a result of decision of the receiving terminal station R side, or circuit fault information outputted from a receiving code processing part 7r of the receiving terminal station R side, a transmitting terminal switch 1 and a receiving terminal switch 8 are controlled by switching controllers 14, 15, respectively, and one of the existing circuits L in which a fault is generated is switched to a stand-by circuit Lo in an early stage. |
