<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a situation where all reserve events are not recorded. CONSTITUTION:A VTR 1 is attached with a reserving function. The operation of every part of the VTR 1 is controlled by a microcomputer 2. The rotary pulse Ps of the supplying side reel of a tape cassette 5 is supplied to the microcomputer 2. When a video recording reservation is made by the operations of a remote controlling unit 11 and a reserve setting switch 4, a tape remaining time t1 is calculated by the microcomputer 2 by using the rotary pulse Ps, etc. When a tape remaining time t2 does not reach the time t1 for continuing a planned video recording at the time of setting a video recording reservation, a character generator 8 is controlled and a warning is displayed on a monitor TV 12. Thus, that the tape remaining time t2 does not reach the time t1 for continuing the planned video recording is easily recognized by a user and the generation of the situation where all the reserve events are not recorded is prevented by rewinding the tape and switching the tape cassette 5.</p> |
