The invention relates to a format intended for recording panoramic images on film, including drive perforations placed between the images. The film (1) with a width of 11.6 mm includes perforations (2) with dimensions of 1 x 2.4 mm at a pitch (3) of 7.6 mm, centred on an axis (4) located at a distance of 4.75 mm from the reference edge (6) of the film. The image (7) recorded, 10.5 mm wide and 6.25 mm high, is centred on an optical axis (8) located at 5.75 mm from the reference edge (6). The format according to the invention is particularly intended for recording and projecting panoramic images written on film intended for direct use without the splices being visible. <IMAGE>
