PURPOSE:To easily repair and replace abnormal sensors. CONSTITUTION:The state of various processes is detected by a digital output sensor 1. The digital signal that the sensor 1 transmits is given to an interface device 2. The interface device 2, based upon the digital signal supplied, decides whether the sensor 1 is normal or not. When decided to be normal, various calculations are performed with a specified variable quantity cantained in the digital signal, and outputted after converted into analogue signal. When decided to be abnormal, the previous output state of analogue signal is held and that fact is informed to an instrument room 5 by closing a contact point 2-1. |
