<p>PURPOSE:To evade the damage of a magnetic tape due to contact with a drum by constituting so that the magnetic tape is not in contact with the drum when the tape loading mechanism of a magnetic recording and reproducing device is in a half loading mode. CONSTITUTION:The drum 16 is arranged so as to be farther for a tape cassette 12. This device is constituted so that the magnetic tape 10 running in the half loading mode is not in contact with the drum 16 by changing the inclination direction of the drum 16, reducing further the inclination angle of the drum 16 or arranging the drum 16 downward further.</p> |
