<p>PURPOSE:To enduringly obtain an excellent copying image by making a functional group on a surface of a resin particle to react with a compound having a charge control group and a functional group reactive with the functional group to stably give adequate chargeability to a toner particle for a long period. CONSTITUTION:A binding resin consists of the resin particle of an essential component and the surface of the resin particle having the functional group on the surface of the resin particle is allowed to react with the compound having the functional group reactive with the functional group of the resin particle. The functional group in this case is an acidic group, an amino group, an isocyanate group or the like. And the compound having the functional group reactive the functional group is e.g. an amine compound if the functional group on the surface of the resin particle is the acidic group and if the functional groups of the surface of the resin particle is the amino group and the isocyanate group, the compound is an acidic group contained compound. Thus, in this reaction, satisfactory chargeability is attained.</p> |
