PURPOSE:To enable high-speed access using a cache memory and improve drawing performance by storing the cache memory with plural attributes required to draw a figure from an external memory at the time of the figure drawing, and drawing the figure at a high speed by referring the attributes required to draw the figure. CONSTITUTION:This cache memory mapping system is provided with the cache memory 4 which is stored with the attributes, etc., required to draw the figure and accessed at a high speed and the external memory 6 which is previously stored with plural attributes, etc., required to draw the figure to size by which they can be stored in the cache memory 4. When the figure is drawn, the necessary attributes, etc., are stored in the cache memory 4 from the external memory 4 and referred to for the high-speed drawing. Consequently, on-cache reference to the attributes is enabled without any overlap of mapping on the cache memory 4 to improve the drawing performance. |
