PURPOSE:To provide IC card system and an IC card enabling a user to efficiently and accurately obtain and record only necessary data. CONSTITUTION:In a medical information managing system for storing various medical measuring data relating to a home side pacient is stored in a personal IC card and allowing a center such as a hospital to input and utilize the data for medical treatment or the like, registration instructing information inherent in each person such as an organism sensor necessary for measurement, necessary measuring items and a data type is respectively and previously written in the command tables 52, 56 of data registering areas 'VITAL 1' 51, 'VITAL 2' 55 in an EEPROM 47 in the IC card. When a user sets up his (or her) own IC card to a home adaptor at the time of measurement, the registering instructing information is read out of the command tables and only the necessary data are obtained from the corresponding organism sensor based upon the read information and respectively recorded in record recording areas 53, 57 by a specified data format. |
