Device for rapidly saturating, on the opening of a power switch (1), the protective inductor (5) located between said switch and its freewheeling diode (2). The device also enables energy to be recovered, with a single circuit, from switching aid circuits on opening and closing of the switch. Application: especially in high frequency switching aid circuits for semi-conductor power switches.
