Device allowing an object radially secured to a driving shaft by a pin to pivot through a precise angle about this spindle. It comprises a cylindrical pin (2) axially pierced with a passage (22) and including, in its central part, two diametrically opposite grooves (20, 21), the cutout of which is helical, associated with two bevel gears (3, 4) of identical shape and size, each internally equipped with an axial drilling (31, 41) in the wall of which are made, diametrically opposite, two helical grooves (32, 42) with the same curvature as that of the grooves (20, 21) in the pin (2), a helical key (5) being inserted into each of the four helical spaces thus formed, each helical key (5) including a threaded orifice located facing a radial orifice (34, 44) formed in each gear (3, 4) and into which is inserted a screw allowing the keys (5) to be secured to the gears (3, 4) which mesh with a bevel gear (6) secured to the object which is to be made to pivot. This device is intended particularly for varying the pitch of a propeller. <IMAGE>
