Partition screen - uses decomposable paper materials, to enclose asbestos clearance site

Partition to screen off the working area to be treated from a clean area, during sanitisation on a site contaminated with lung penetrating fibre. The partition has a base of paper, which will eventually decompose and a middle layer of fibre binding material and a protective top layer. The partition material which is laid on floors and ceilings are well as sepn. walls pref. consists of fibre reinforced kraft paper (4) capable of withstanding dampness, and has a high tear strength. This has a lining (5) attached to it in the dry state and also made from paper. Another sheet of protective paper is removed before, during or replaced after the cleaning process. Dust and fibre attaches to the absorbent lining (5) and this is sprayed (9). There is penetration (7) and this may be sealed with a top layer. The lining paper is dried after removal, and may be shredded in an enclosed compression chamber so that the paper will decompose quickly in a refuse area. ADVANTAGE - The paper based partition is strong, but will decompose fairly quickly in a refuse area, which plastic does not. The material is partic. applicable to asbestos clearance.
