The basic board (1) is ruled with divisions (4, 5) to allow connection of auxiliary PCBs (2) so that when these are sepd. the solder contacts (3) still remain along at least one edge. The edges of the contacts themselves are metallised and their shape is matched to that of the divisions. The metallisation may extend around the entire periphery of each contact, giving a low-resistance connection between the contacts and corresp. solder bores when the auxiliary board is soldered to a main board. USE/ADVANTAGE - For current supply equipment. Solder contacts can be applied with little difficulty and at favourable cost.
