High-speed monorail transport system combined with pipeline network - uses interior of hollow monorail for overhead vehicles as conveying pipeline for gas or liquid

The transport system uses overhead vehicle (2) with an electric or IC engine drive, suspended via pneumatic tyres from a monorail (1), which acts simultaneously as a conveying pipeline for a gas or liquid medium. The transport vehicles (2) are suspended from the monorail so that they can be inclined to the vertical in response to the centrifugal force exerted when travelling around a curve. Pref. the vehicles (2) have a lightweight fabrication and are each designed to vary between 30 and 50 people, their pneumatic tyres pref. mounted on directly driven wheels (4).
