The rotary feed coupling, used between a rotor (3) and a stator (2), is inserted between entry and exit lines for pressurised air, hydraulic fluid or a lubricant. The rotor (3) can slide axially relative to the stator (2) by adjusting the sealing surfaces (6) between them, its displacement controlled by a setting element (14). Pref. the sealing surfaces (6) are adjusted by varying their sealing gap. The setting element (14) is adjusted manually, or by using a bimetallic element (17) responding to a rise in temp. for increasing the sealing gap. USE - For indexing device or stepped turntable in machine tool etc.
