Two conductors (11, 12) such as cores of coaxial cables (13, 14) are pressed into contact with the surfaces (36) of the horizontal limbs of contact pieces (18, 19) by a two-armed plastics lever (25), through which the screw (23) extends into a threaded bore (22) through the metallic chassis (21). The contact pieces are pressed into openings (16, 17) in an insulating piece (15) fixed to the chassis, and their downward tabs (239) are soldered (40) to a PCB.(42).
