<p>The invention relates to an angular position sensor, of the type comprising at least one resistive track (1), which is for example circular, and at least one slide, each slide (3) being capable of being moved, whilst making an electrical contact with the track, each resistive track (1) being continuous and closed, and comprising at least two electrical access points (A,B,C,4) distributed on each resistive track (1); the said sensor comprising, on the one hand, with means for applying predetermined separate electric potentials at at least two of the said access points (A, B, C, 4), and, on the other hand, with means for measuring the electric potential resulting at at least one of the said access points (4) to a resistive track. In this manner, the slide can therefore move through a complete revolution without leaving the resistive track. All angles can be measured, and several revolutions are possible. A corresponding method for measuring the angular position is also described. <IMAGE></p> |
