PATCH ANTENNA FOR LOCAL AREA COMMUNICATION

A patch antenna for local area communication is provided to reduce the size of a ground by forming the ground on top and bottom surfaces of a dielectric, thereby reducing the size of the patch antenna. A patch antenna for local area communication includes a radiating unit(10), and a ground(20). The radiating unit(10) includes at least one first radiating unit(10a) attached at a part of one side of a dielectric(15), and at least one second radiating unit(10b) arranged inside the dielectric(15) and electrically connected with the first radiating unit(10a). The ground(20) includes at least one first ground unit(20a) arranged at the other side of the dielectric(15), and at least one second ground unit(20b) arranged at one side of the dielectric(15). The first ground unit(20a) and the second ground unit(20b) are electrically connected to each other.
