A portable phone is provided to enable a user using a folded portable phone to perform control amount selection or change without opening the folded portable phone, thereby contributing to operability and convenience. A portable phone(1) comprises the followings: a first housing; a second housing; a connection unit for connecting the first housing and the second housing; a display unit(5) which is arranged on an external surface of the first housing in a folded state of the portable phone; a key; an image taking unit(21) which is arranged on the external surface of the portable phone in the folded state and outputs image data after photographing a subject; a voice data recording unit(52); a voice reproducing unit(40A); at least one first operating units(23) which is arranged in the external surface of the portable phone in the folded state and accepts commands of voice production by the voice reproducing unit; a key lock switch which is arranged in the external surface of the portable phone and locks operations for the first operating unit in a voice reproduction mode; and at least one second operating unit which is arranged in the external surface of the portable phone in the folded state and accepts commands for the portable phone.
