An impeller is described for the fan of an automobile motor, in which the vanes in the inner radial region (15) adjoining the hub (2) are shaped identically and are distributed uniformly on the hub circumference, while in an outer radial region (16), which starts at a radial distance of approximately one third of the vane length (1) from the hub outwards, they are asymmetric and are disposed so as to be unevenly distributed.
