<p>Sheet containing planchets made from a plastic film. The planchets are coated on at least one of their faces with a composition comprising at least one wettability-improving agent which may be of a heat-sealable nature. The agent is a vinyl copolymer, for example a vinyl acetate-vinyl chloride-ethylene copolymer. The composition is a varnish in aqueous media. The planchets preferably exhibit an "indescence" or dichroism, fluorescence, light reflection or light polarization effect or any other surface optical effect. Application especially as security paper and banknote paper.</p> |
