<p>A video signal processing apparatus having an input terminal (1) for receiving a composite video signal, a first separation circuit (12) for separating a first luminance signal and a first chrominance signal in response to a frame correlation of the composite video signal, a second separation circuit (3) for separating a second luminance signal and a second chrominance signal in response to an in-frame correlation of the composite video signal, a motion detection circuit (14) for detecting a motion of the composite video signal in response to a frame non-correlation of the composite video signal to provide a motion detection signal therefrom, a first mixing circuit (9) for mixing the first and second luminance signals at a mixing ratio responsive to the motion detection signal to provide a third luminance signal therefrom and a second mixing circuit (8) for mixing the first and second chrominance signals at a mixing ratio responsive to the detection signal to provide a third chrominance signal therefrom, a noise reduction circuit (18 - 23, 25 - 30) for reducing noises in the second luminance and the second chrominance signal in response to the n-frame correlation and a selection circuit (S3, S4) for selectively outputing the set of the third luminance signal and the third chrominance signal or the set of the fourth luminance signal and the fourth chrominance signal.</p> |
