Process for regulating the deceleration of a vehicle provided with front wheels (21, 21') and back wheels (22, 22') equipped with electrically controlled braking actuators (5, 5', 15, 15') which process consists in measuring the actual deceleration of the vehicle ( gamma actual), in setting up a deceleration reference ( gamma c) as a function of the placement (c) of the brake pedal and of the force (Fp) exerted on the latter, and in adjusting the control pressures of the front brakes (Pav) and rear brakes (Par) so that the actual deceleration measured is equal to the deceleration reference. <IMAGE>
