<p>PURPOSE:To conduct continuous pelletizing efficiently and to prevent dust generation in molding and tablet preparation by arranging a screw shaft and the head face of a flight on the same level and increasing the flight height to the screw shaft by decreasing the diameter of the screw shaft toward its head. CONSTITUTION:The screw shaft head face(s) 3 and the screw flight head face(s) 3' of a single or double screwed extruding pelletizer are arranged on the same level, and the diameter of the screw shaft is decreased toward its head so that the flight 2' height is increased to the screw shaft. The head part of the screw is a 4-streaked screw type, and a die 5 has a straight hole 6 from its inlet to outlet. The clearance 9 between the head face 3 and the die 5 is 1mm or less. Since the clearance 9 being 1mm or less, material can be discharged quickly by the screw rotation, and the die pulsing is prevented. Since the size of the screw head face is small, the discharge per unit time can be increased by installing a number of die holes.</p> |
