PURPOSE:To prevent generation of smell and transfer of the smell to foodstuff by providing a forced-circulation type deodorizer in a tightly closed space in a refrigerator with tightly closed space such as a low temperature chamber. CONSTITUTION:A chilled case 7 is provided slidably in forward and rearward directions in a low temperature chamber 5 formed by partitioning a part of a refrigeration chamber 3 and a low temperature box 9 is formed around the outer periphery of the case 7, which is fixed in a refrigerator. And a deodorizing box 22 for exclusive use for the box 9 is disposed at the rear of the box 9. A blower 25 for forced circulation of air in the case 7, fan 26, deodorizing catalyst 24, and a power source electrode 23 for generating ozone are installed in the box 22. A blowoff hole 28 and a suction hole 29 are formed through the box 9 and the case 7 and a shielding plate 27 is provided to close the holes 28, 29 respectively. As a result, the interior of the box 22 is deodorized always and even if foodstuff is stored without using lap, generation of smell and the transfer of the smell is prevented. |
