PURPOSE:To prevent the blockage of return air passage due to a shelf or the like to allow accomplishment of original functions by partially recessing the ridge formed by the ceiling wall and the rear wall or side wall of a refrigeration chamber toward thermal insulating material to form a return air passage connecting the refrigeration chamber and a cooling chamber. CONSTITUTION:The ridge portion of an inner box 6 formed by the ceiling wall and the rear wall of a refrigeration chamber 3 is partially recessed toward thermal insulating material 7 to form an inner box recess 6a. And one end 17a is placed before the recess 6a to form a return air passage 17 integrally to a dew receiving dish 16. And a gentle slope 6b is formed on a part of the recess 6a from the rear side of the chamber 3 to make it easier to draw circulating cold air as illustrated by an arrow P. Further a slope 6c is formed on the recess 6a so that a shelf 21 is located halfway up the slope 6c. The other end of opening 17b of the passage 17 is connected to an opening 16c formed on a rear wall 16b of the dish 16. As a result, the end of opening of the return air passage is not blockaded by stored matters placed on the shelf so that original functions can always be accomplished and blockage of the passage is avoided. |
